The Open Book is a weekly quiet time initiative run by One6Teen Foundation. Every Saturday afternoon, we open our doors at Silver Lakes Office Park in Pretoria and invite young people aged 13–18 to come and spend time with God's Word.
No programme. No performance. No pressure. Just a young person, a Bible, and a guided quiet time in a safe, structured, welcoming space.
Snacks are on the table. A Bible sits at every seat. Everything they need is already there — all they have to do is arrive.
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
— Psalm 119:105The Open Book is open to any young person aged 13 to 18, regardless of church background, denomination, or faith experience.
South Africa's youth need more than programmes — they need a personal encounter with the living Word of God. The Open Book is that space.

Help us purchase a popcorn machine to make sessions even more inviting for teenagers.
A slushie machine adds a fun, welcoming touch that keeps young people coming back every week.
